1. Purpose of the Training:
This training aims to convey the S-Series ILS (IPS) specifications published by the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) through real project experience and practical examples from daily life.
The course introduces the S-Series ILS (IPS) specifications published by ASD—which are increasingly encountered in NATO and particularly European countries—including:
- SX000i – ILS (IPS) Guide
- S1000D – Technical Documentation
- S2000M – Material Management
- S3000L – Logistics Support Analysis (LSA/PSA)
- S4000P – Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- S5000F – In-Service Feedback
- S6000T – Training
The training also highlights the differences between these specifications and commonly used US/UK standards (such as MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, DEF-STAN, etc.).
Through the ASD S-Series Specifications Training, participants will:
- Learn how to prepare plans and perform analyses in accordance with ASD specifications
- Be able to improve system/product availability and reduce life cycle costs through proper analysis
- Gain the necessary knowledge to implement ASD S-Series specifications and perform required analyses in line with contractual requirements
The training materials have been exclusively prepared by the instructor for this course, drawing on their expertise and referencing relevant standards from various countries and organizations (ASD, DEF-STAN, JSP, MIL-STD, NATO, SAE), as well as widely accepted publications.
