Osman G. Bayat graduated from Gazi University, Department of Mechanical Engineering and completed his master's degree in the same department. Between 1997 and 2011, he worked as a CAD / CAM / CAE instructor at the Ankara Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. He worked as a design engineer in different companies until 2007. He started to work as a design engineer at FNSS in 2007 and took different positions as a design engineer until 2012, including technical leadership of SAMUR, bridge vehicle. He was assigned as the leader of the newly established ILS group under the umbrella of R&D in 2012 and led the development of the organization where supportability is at the forefront. Among the areas of responsibility; Creating ILS Concept, Preparing ILS portions of Proposals, Giving feedback to Design from ILS perspective, Usability / Maintainability / Reliability / LSA / Obsolescence analysis, Technical Documentation (s1000D documents triggered from LSA), Training, Support and Test Equipment, Spare Parts and Field Data analyzes were included. In addition to these duties, he participated Turkish Defense Industry Life Cycle Management Platform studies, which was established under the Defense Industry Presidency, and led the development of many documents as the coordinator of Working Group 1, one of the two working groups. He also participated NATO Lifecycle Management Group (LCMG) (AC/327) Working Group 1 (WG/1) studies, where he worked as Subgroup 1 leader in the updating of NATO-ALP-10, NATO's ILS Guidance Document. Studies in both groups still continue.
He quit from FNSS while he was the ILS Department Manager and established NEXUS Engineering company to provide world-class training, consultancy, service and outsource specialist support in the ILS discipline.
Ayhan Dursun graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1982 and from the Military Academy in 1986 as a combat engineer second lieutenant. Dursun, who served as a commander and staff officer in various units between 1986 and 2012. He was appointed as a instructor and later branch chairman at the Army Engineer School and Training Center after completing his master's degree in International Relations at Girne American University between 2005 and 2007. During his service in the Army Engineer School, he took the responsibilty of many defence projects as a project officer.. Following his retirement in February 2012, he started working as a consultant in the R&D department of FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. He provided consultancy in project management in many domestic and foreign projects and in training analysis, planning and execution for the of ILS department finally, consulting defense industry projects for 12 years, he left his position at FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. in September 2024.
