1. Purpose of the Training:
The Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) element, presented as a main topic in the ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) Fundamentals training, aims to convey the details of this ILS element through real project experiences and practical examples from daily life.
The training is designed to explain in detail how to determine, plan, provide, and procure the necessary resources to meet PHS&T requirements. Thanks to PHS&T;
- From the early phases, PHS&T requirements (including safety) are analyzed and used as design inputs
- Potential accidents, damages, and losses related to PHS&T are minimized, reducing life cycle costs
- Relevant laws, regulations, standards, and directives are reviewed to ensure the PHS&T plan complies with the rules of the respective country
- The disposal of PHS&T materials and their environmental impacts are analyzed
- PHS&T planning is carried out
- PHS&T activities are provided and managed
With this training, you will have the opportunity to learn in detail the knowledge required to perform PHS&T activities in compliance with standards and contract requirements, as well as apply it in practice.
The materials used in the training have been specially prepared by the instructor for this course, referencing their own expertise, various national and international standards (ASD, DEF-STAN, JSP, MIL-STD, NATO, SAE), and widely accepted publications.
