1. Purpose of the Training:
This FMECA training aims to convey detailed knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis, introduced at a basic level in RAMST training, through real project experiences and practical everyday examples.
FMECA focuses on providing design input at early stages to identify possible failure modes in the system/product, their potential effects, and criticality, and to find solutions for unacceptable failure modes. Through FMECA;
- Unacceptable failure modes are identified and solutions are sought
- Criticality analysis ensures more efficient allocation of effort
- Design risks are significantly reduced
- Safety and reliability improvements are implemented
- Maintenance plans are effectively developed
- Inputs for failure rate analyses are created
The training covers FMEA/FMECA definitions, standards, Functional Flow Block Diagrams, different types of FMECA, and FMECA reporting. With this training, you will gain detailed knowledge required to perform FMECA compliant with standards and contractual requirements, along with practical application opportunities.
Training materials are specially prepared by the instructor, referencing their expertise and various international standards (ASD, DEF-STAN, JSP, MIL-STD, NATO, SAE) and widely accepted literature.
