1. Purpose of the Training:
This training aims to provide detailed insights into Maintenance, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), which are introduced as main topics in the ELD Fundamentals course, by sharing real project experiences and practical everyday examples.
Maintenance, MTA, and LORA not only shape the entire support system after the product enters service but also provide design inputs to optimize the support system. Thanks to Maintenance, MTA, and LORA;
- All maintenance activities related to the system, their detailed steps, and the necessary resources (personnel, materials, etc.) are defined
- The appropriate maintenance/repair level is determined
- Design inputs are provided to optimize the support system
The training covers a brief introduction to ELD and maintainability definitions, followed by maintenance concept, maintenance planning, selection of critical maintenance components, Functional and Physical MTA, Economic and Non-Economic LORA, SMR coding, the relationship between maintenance and reliability, maintenance validations, and in-service maintenance topics. You will gain detailed knowledge and hands-on experience to perform Maintenance, MTA, and LORA according to standards and contractual requirements.
Training materials are specially prepared by the instructor based on their expertise, referencing relevant standards from various countries and organizations (ASD, DEF-STAN, JSP, MIL-STD, NATO, SAE), and widely accepted literature.
