1. Purpose of the Training:

This training is designed to convey the core principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)—also referred to as Integrated Product or Lifecycle Support—tailored to the needs of managers. It draws upon real-world project experience and practical daily examples to ensure relevance and applicability.

ILS aims to ensure the design of a Support System that is aligned with the system/product, contributes to the early design stages for enhanced supportability, and promotes cost-effective, performance-based usage throughout the system's lifecycle.

Thanks to ILS analyses, the following benefits can be achieved;

  • A Support System is designed in line with ILS goals
  • Design inputs are provided early to optimize Life Cycle Cost (LCC)
  • ILS Plans and sub-plans are prepared for effective lifecycle management
  • Key ILS metrics are calculated and validated
  • Operational availability improves
  • Life Cycle Cost is optimized
  • Warranty and logistics support costs become measurable

The training covers ILS definitions and standards, lifecycle phases and corresponding ILS activities, ILS elements, planning, and analysis topics—all from a managerial perspective. By attending, participants will gain a solid understanding of ILS activities and principles in alignment with applicable standards and contractual requirements.

All training materials are specially prepared by the instructor, drawing on personal expertise and referencing internationally recognized ILS standards (ASD, DEF-STAN, JSP, MIL-STD, NATO, SAE) and authoritative publications.
