1. Purpose of the Training:
The RAMST (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Supportability, and Testability) training focuses on conveying the theory of Reliability Analyses through real-world project experience and practical daily-life examples.
Reliability analyses aim to support the design of supportable systems/products from the early phases and to ensure their cost-effective and performance-oriented usage throughout the lifecycle. Through Reliability Analyses, participants will be able to:
- Calculate the probability of systems/products operating without failure during their expected mission duration
- Design in accordance with reliability requirements
- Determine spare part stock levels
- Estimate warranty and logistics support costs
- Improve operational availability
- Optimize lifecycle cost
The training covers topics such as: definitions, calculations, and standards of reliability; Functional Flow Block Diagrams (FFBD); Reliability System Modeling; Reliability Allocation and Prediction; Data Sources; FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis); Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD); Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM); Reliability Improvement; Reliability Testing; and Field Data Analysis.
This course provides in-depth knowledge of reliability analyses aligned with relevant standards and contractual requirements, along with practical application opportunities.
The training materials have been specially prepared by the instructor, based on their expertise and referencing recognized standards from various countries and organizations (ASD, DEF-STAN, JSP, MIL-STD, NATO, SAE), along with widely accepted technical literature.
