Technical documentation is the provision of all information and instructions required to operate or maintain/repair a product or system. It usually includes documents such as User or Operator Manual, Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalogue, Support Equipment Catalogue. In recent years, it has become very common that all data can be shared in certain formats and used digitally, with document writing in accordance with the s1000D specification, which is one of the ASD specifications. In many projects, s1000D documents are requested as a requirement. In companies that produce commercial products (automotive, small household appliances, etc.), although there is no need, a common database is preferred for reasons such as less mistakes, easier follow-up of the configuration, and ease of data management.
